With an EcoWater Reverse Osmosis System You Get:
  • Semi-permeable membranes to reject solids
  • Three or four-stage water filtration
  • Specially formulated pre-and post-filters to reduce contaminants, eliminate odors, and improve taste.
  • Automatic shut-off to conserve water
  • Optional electronic monitor to alert you when filters need changing
  • Space-saving designs
Here’s How Reverse Osmosis Works:
  1. Household water is directed through a pre-filter for filtration to remove sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and particulate matter.
  2. The water is then forced, by pressure, through a semi-permeable membrane where a high percentage of the dissolved solids and other contaminants are rejected and flushed to the drain.
  3. A final polishing of the water is accomplished by an activated carbon absorption block filter removing tastes and odors. The water passes through this final filtering process immediately before going to the faucet whether it comes direct from the unit or from the storage tank.
  4. The automatic shut-off control shuts down the system when the storage tank is filled and water is not being drawn. This “demand production” feature conserves water by eliminating the constant running to the drain found in some units. The control also depressurizes the membrane when not in service extending the membrane life and reducing the need for maintenance of your reverse osmosis water purifier.
EcoWater Systems offers a broad range of reverse osmosis purification systems including the ERO 375, a state-of-the-art reverse osmosis filter. These products reduce substances such as chlorine taste, sediment, nitrates, lead, cysts and detergents.

Lance very clearly showed me how bad our water was versus how good it could be with their water filtration system. I decided to buy it and Team) came out and had it installed very quickly and efficiently and it works amazing. I love having clean water to drink it taste so good. My hands always used to get very dry now they don’t because the water is so pure.
Very Pleased with this company. They took over contracts from an old company that went out of business a few years after we bought and had them install our full home water softener system and under-sink reverse osmosis.
Universal Water is the only place I can find the replacements filters for the RO system. I have had bad luck with trying to find the correct ones online or at other out of state companies, and when I could find them, the prices were exorbitant.

I had Universal Water come out to trouble shoot loss of pressure in our RO system.
Jonathan arrived a few minute early. (Loved this). He was very polite, did not mind wearing booties in our house.(we are a no shoes household). He thoroughly went through my system and explained and showed me everything he was doing and informed me the importance of the data he was collecting.
As it turned out the issue was with the holding tank for the RO system. Apparently the bladder inside the tank, which is how the system creates pressure to get the filtered water from the tank to come out
Well anyway it turns out the bladder/baffle inside the tank had started to loose air. .( a normal occurrence over time).

This is and was remedied by pumping air into tank, via an attached valve stem, to correct pressure (if the bladder has not popped or has a leak) Then he did a maintenance check to my whole house water softener. After that, he tested the water from the sink faucet as well as the RO system. Again he explained what each test was, the ideal values and the actual values from my system.

I was initially quoted a price of 125.00 for the service call plus any parts or labor that may be required to get the system running correctly. Well after all the things Jonathan did, the system was running exactly as designed and when it came time to pay them they did not charge me anything, but advised if the problem reappears and they fix it they wold have to charge me then. (NO PROBLEM) I will definitely continue using them and would recommend them to any of my friends or family. If their other employees are as good a Jonathan this place will be around for long long time.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for the kind review! We’re glad Jonathan was able to get everything running properly and explain the process along the way. We truly appreciate your trust in Universal Water and your recommendation, it means a lot to us!
Quality presentation of the product as well as the professional installation. Walk through was informative plus all my questions were answered.
Response from the owner:Thank you for the great review! We’re happy to hear you were pleased with the presentation, installation, and walkthrough. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever have more questions! Welcome to the Ecowater family!

What is reverse osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to remove unwanted molecules and particles from drinking water.

What does reverse osmosis remove?

Reverse Osmosis removes common chemical contaminants such as:
  • sodium
  • chloride
  • copper
  • chromium
  • lead
Some systems may also reduce:
  • arsenic
  • fluoride
  • radium
  • sulfate
  • calcium
  • magnesium
  • potassium
  • nitrate
  • phosphorous

How much is reverse osmosis system?

A Reverse Osmosis System cost depends on the type of system you’re looking to purchase. Under sink reverse osmosis systems range from $250 to $7,500. Whole house reverse osmosis systems range from $1,000 – $18,000. System costs depend on a number of factors but are most closely tied to the amount of water that needs to be filtered per day.

How to remineralize water after reverse osmosis?

You can remineralize water after reverse osmosis filtering through various methods. Most modern reverse osmosis systems include a remineralization tank that takes care of adding minerals back into your water for you.

How to make reverse osmosis water alkaline?

You can make reverse osmosis water alkaline by adding alkaline minerals and raising the ph of your filtered water.

What is not removed by reverse osmosis?

What is not removed by reverse osmosis may surprise some. While RO filters will reduce a wide range of contaminants from your water, it will not remove some pesticides, solvents, volatile organic chemicals VOCs (like chlorine and radon), dissolved gases (ammonia, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulfide), and organic contaminants (such as formaldehyde, methanol, acetonitrile, methyl ethyl ketone, etc.).

How much water does reverse osmosis waste?

Reverse osmosis wastes on average about 4 gallons of water per gallon made. If you use 3 gallons a day for drinking, cooking and internal consumption, that means you will waste about 12 gallons, making a reverse osmosis system about 25% efficient. Comparatively, a washing machine and dishwasher use electricity and hot water (which takes energy to heat) and waste every gallon of water they use.
